Privacy Policy

The short version
Your voice and your photos are never stored on our servers. What the app
keeps for you — notes, reminders, saved contacts, and a text record of your
conversations — is yours: you can switch the record off, delete it, or delete
your whole account from inside the app. We do not sell your data, and we do not
listen when a session is not running.
What we keep
- Account: your email address, display name, and a hashed
password (never the password itself).
- Your content: notes, reminders and saved contacts you create
on purpose, so you can read them back on any phone.
- A text record of your conversations — what you said and
what Farry answered — kept on our server while Keep my conversations
is on in Settings → Privacy (it is on by default). Switch it off and the server
keeps nothing of what you say from then on. The copy on your phone is yours
either way.
- A tool log: which tool ran for a request and whether it
worked, with its details, so we can find out why something misbehaved. Kept 30
days, then deleted on its own. With Keep my conversations off, the log
keeps no details — only that the tool ran.
- Sent messages: a record of what the app sent on your behalf,
kept 7 days, then deleted. None with the switch off.
- Orders: name, address, phone and email for a delivery, kept
with the order for the books.
- Usage: how many talk minutes, photo scans and searches you
use, to enforce plan limits and to bill correctly.
- Diagnostics: timing and error logs. These do not contain
your conversations.
What we never keep
- Audio. The microphone is streamed only while a session is
running, and only to the AI provider that answers you. It is not recorded or
stored on our servers.
- Photos. A photo you ask about is used to answer that question
and dropped; it is not written to disk. A photo or video you send through the
app is held for at most 30 minutes while it is being sent, then deleted.
Photos taken on the glasses stay on the glasses until you sync them to your
own phone.
- Passwords and logins for other services. A mailbox's app
password and your Telegram login live in your phone's secure keystore; they
are presented to the server for a session and never stored there.
- Your phone's contacts. When you say "message Ahmed", the
name is matched on your phone; the address book never reaches the server.
- Location history. Location is used only when you ask for
something that needs it, and is not kept.
- Card details. Stripe handles payments; we receive only the
subscription status.
Making us forget
All of this is in the app, under Settings → Privacy, and takes effect at once:
- Keep my conversations — switch it off and no record of what
you say is kept on the server from then on.
- Delete my conversations — removes every conversation on your
phone and everything the server kept of what you said. Notes and reminders
stay; they have their own delete.
- Delete my account — removes your conversations, notes,
reminders and saved contacts, signs out every device, and closes the account.
Orders and payments stay on our books, as the law requires.
Who else sees it
- AI providers (Google Gemini, and OpenAI if you pick it)
receive what is needed to answer your request — your words, and a photo when
you ask about one.
- Stripe handles payments and holds your card details.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or rent your data or use it for advertising.
Children
FarryOn is not intended for children under 13.
